Who is Eligible

  • Children up to age 5
  • Infants
  • Postpartum women
  • Pregnant women
  • Women who are breastfeeding

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must meet income guidelines
    • Foster children, Medical Assistant participants, TCA clients and Food Supplement Program - Formally Food Stamp Program (FSP) are income eligible
  • Must live in the State of Maryland

Eligibility is determined through appointment only.

Appointment Items

When you attend your appointment we need you to bring:

  • All family members applying for WIC:
    • Children and adults
  • Identification for all participants - one of the following:
    • Birth certificate
    • Driver’s license
    • Social security card
    • The crib card from the hospital for new babies
  • Proof of your household income - one of the following:
    • Food Supplement Program (FSP) card - formally food stamps card
    • Medical assistance cards for all family members
    • Recent family paystubs,
  • Proof of your address - one of the following:
    • Copy of a lease
    • Driver’s license
    • Official mail
  • Proof of pregnancy if applicable - one of the following:
    • Doctor’s note
    • Pregnancy test results (not home pregnancy test)
    • Sonogram
