Mental Health Advisory Committee & Local Drug And Alcohol Council

The Mental Health Advisory Committee monitors, reviews, and evaluates the allocation and adequacy of publicly funded mental health services within Frederick County. The Committee determines the needs of the County mental health system; helps develop the local mental health plan and budget; and prepares an annual report.

The Local Drug and Alcohol Council develops the plans, strategies, and priorities of the county for meeting the identified needs of the general public and the criminal justice system for alcohol and drug abuse evaluation, prevention, intervention, and treatment.

The Committee meets the 3rd Monday of every month from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at Winchester Hall 3rd floor meeting room.
