How do I get Overdose Training (Naloxone)?

Trainings are held the 2nd Wednesday monthly at 6:00 pm and every Friday at 1:00 pm. These trainings are being held in person AND virtually. Trainings are FREE and no registration is required.

In-person trainings are held in the Core Conference Room at the Frederick County Health Department, 350 Montevue Lane, Frederick MD 21702. Enter through Entrance C, the conference room is located across from the elevators. 

Virtual Trainings: Please note to join Microsoft TEAMS virtual training you must have access to a computer/laptop, iPhone, or Android. When using your phone you must download the FREE Microsoft TEAMS app first. When joining from a computer/laptop you may join as a guest.

This hour-long training is available for anyone at risk for overdosing on heroin or prescription pain medication and anyone who may have an opportunity to help someone experiencing an overdose.
