COVID-19 Testing Sites

  1. Hillcrest Golden Mile/Route 40 COVID-19 Community Testing Clinic

    April 24, 2021, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

    Open to the public. Outside walk up testing. Face coverings and physical distancing required. No documentation needed. Please visit health.frederickcountymd.gov/coronavirus for the most up to date testing information. Results will be provided verbally by phone call. The clinics are low/no barrier clinics aimed to meet the needs of community members who do not have insurance, a regular doctor, transportation to access the other testing resources or other challenges. We do not require advance registration for our walk up clinics to be as accessible as possible.

  2. National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

    April 24, 2021, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Former Trinity School

    Open to the public. Frederick County will take part in the Drug Enforcement Agency’s (DEA) “National Prescription Drug Take Back Day”. This event offers residents the chance to prevent medicine misuse and diversion by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. At the October 2020 Drug Take Back Day event, local residents safely turned in nearly 883 pounds of medicine at two collection sites in Frederick County in a 4-hour period. The following items may be dropped off during the event: • Prescription and over-the-counter medicines (in pill form only) • Prescription patches • Pet medicines (in pill form only)
