Do you need a Certificate of Potability before obtaining a Use and Occupancy Permit?
Yes. Beginning in July of 2018 a Certificate of Potability is required from the Health Department prior to obtaining a Use and Occupancy from the County for a new or replacement dwelling. Water samples must be submitted to the Health Department where they are reviewed and approved prior to the Certificate of Potability being issued.
