Audiology Services

Audiology is the study of hearing. 

Our program provides hearing-related services for children who do not have health insurance in Frederick County. We can give information about hearing loss and local resources for children with hearing loss as needed.

Hearing Tests

Children who are already part of the programs listed below can get hearing tests from us:

• Frederick County Infants and Toddlers Program
• YMCA of Frederick County Head Start
• Frederick County Public School's Special Education Program

We also can give hearing tests to:

• Children covered by Medical Assistance insurance as referred by their doctor
• Children who are uninsured and qualify for our sliding fee scale
• Adults with developmental disabilities covered by Medical Assistance or Medicare

Personal Hearing Aids

Help for personal hearing aids is provided as needed for:

• Children using hearing aids from the Maryland Hearing Aid Loan Bank
• Children who have Medical Assistance insurance and are referred by their doctor
• Children who do not have health insurance and qualify for our sliding fee scale
• Adults with developmental disabilities covered by Medical Assistance or Medicare
