The mission of theFrederick County Mental Health Services isto provide the people of Frederick County a means to achieve mental health by relief from the symptoms and causes of mental illness and by promoting mentally and emotionally healthy choices of thought, feeling, and action.
Our team of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Licensed Professional Counselors do this through an integratedcommunity-based system of care that is responsiveto consumers’ needs and choices. We respect and promote the dignity, rights, and full participation of individuals and their families.
We are happy to announce, the clinic will re-open as of July 1, 2021. In-Person services, as well as, telehealth services, will be available to our current clients by appointment. Mask wearing is required while in the Health Department building. If you are feeling ill or have COVID symptoms please do not enter the building, we will be happy to provide your services via telehealth.

The clinic does not accept Medicare Advantage Plans. If you choose to change to a Medicare Advantage plan during Medicare Open Enrollment, please make sure the plan has providers convenient to you who can meet your physical and mental healthcare needs.
